Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort becomes the first resort on Hilton Head Island, in South Carolina and in the entire southeast to introduce Toptracer Technology, this high tech golf driving range allows guests to compete against friends, play virtual courses and receive instant shot feedback.
ABOUT THE NEW FACILITY
At Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort on Hilton Head Island, experience the next level of golf entertainment at the Toptracer Range at Robert Trent Jones Golf Course. This public facility, enhanced with Toptracer technology, offers 14 hitting bays and instant ball tracking, making it perfect for all skill levels. Walk-ins are welcome, though reservations are advised from spring through fall. Golfers with tee times do not need to book separately.
At Palmetto Dunes’ Robert Trent Jones practice facility, the main focus remains meeting the needs of golfers on the tee sheet to warm up before their round. The Toptracer Golf Range technology will only be activated when golfers opt in and pay the additional fee for that service. Read more...
Angry Birds has landed at toptracer
Toptracer has teamed up with the iconic game franchise, Angry Birds, to hatch their latest interactive game experience that allows you to play Angry Birds in real life. The object is simple: Hit golf shots to fling Angry Birds characters through the air to smash down virtual structures, defeat the pesky pigs, and earn as many points and stars as possible. Choose from eight different chapters, each with three different levels, and protect the birds’ precious Hatchlings. It’s family-friendly, perfect for all ages and skill levels, and... absolute mayhem.

CLOSEST TO THE PIN
A little friendly competition to get some excitement going in the bay. This game allows friends to compete, while working on their swing.
GO FISH
Play individually or as a team to catch each of the 24 different sea creatures and as many stars as possible.
APPROACH CHALLENGE
Golfers can fine-tune their iron play in this game of nine approach shots on their choice of three legendary courses.
POINTS GAME
This game allows friends to compete for points based on distance from the target and is ideal for people who enjoy a friendly challenge. Guests can even add In-Air bonus rings for an extra challenge.
TopTRACER12 &30
Toptracer30 & Toptracer12 are both golf practice game modes. Toptracer 30 involves a 30-shot assessment, providing a more comprehensive analysis of your game, while Toptracer12 uses only 12 shots to offer a quicker snapshot of your current skill level.
